You can install multiple copies of Profound UI on the same IBM i server (or LPAR). Each copy of Profound UI is referred to as an "instance" of Profound UI, and includes a library, an HTTP server, and several IFS directories. Each instance can be configured and customized separately, and each can run a different version of Profound UI if desired.
To assist you in managing these instances, we provide the following tools. These first appeared in Profound UI version 5.4.0.
