ID

Specifies the ID of the current element. ID's are used to access the element using CSS and JavaScript code.

Parent Window

Sets the window that this field belongs to.

Screen Identifier

If set to true, this element will be used to detect the screen. The identifier element should be a static output field that is unique to this screen. For example, if the screen has a unique heading, it can be used as the identifier. At least one element on the screen must be marked as an identifier before you can save the screen. When appropriate, you can use a combination of several elements to uniquely identify the screen.

Field Type

Determines the type of control that is used to render the element.

Widget Description

This property provides a text description (or comment) for the element.

Value

Sets the initialization value for the current element.

Response

Response (Button) specifies a response indicator that is returned to the program when the element is clicked.
Tab Response specifies a numeric response field to be populated when a tab of the Tab Panel widget is selected. Each tab within a Tab Panel is identified in sequence starting at 0 for the first tab, 1 for the second tab, 2 for the third tab, and so on...
Menu Response specifies a response field to be populated with the selected option of a Menu widget.
Chart Response specifies a response field to be populated with the name of the data point selected by the user.
Upload Response specifies a data structure response field to be populated when files are uploaded.
