Profound API can be run manually from a command line or configured to auto-start. Both the IDE and the API service are started together with a single command.
The pages below describe some options for starting and managing the instance.
If API files or Workspaces are updated outside of the IDE, for example: when using file copies to update a production instance from a development instance, they will not automatically reload. The options in the Hot module reloading page were added to allow hot reloading without restarting the instance.
