Profound API and Profound JS instances can be installed and maintained using the Profound Installer.



The pages below go into detail about the prerequisites and provide manual steps for installing Profound API.

There are three different sets of installation pages: Version 5 or earlier, Version 6 or later, and IBM i.

All new installations should use the latest version and so should follow the Version 6 or later instructions.



If you are installing on an IBM i or connecting to an IBM i you need to use the IBM i guides.
