Content Freeze
As of July 25th, 2023, there is a content freeze on this page.
This flag enables all new Rich Display Files created in the Visual Designer to allow the use of long field names. When long field names are used, a short name is automatically generated and a long name ALIAS is added to the DDS.
When this flag is set to true, the developer does not have to select the option manually in the Visual Designer interface. The default value is false.
Example:
The following line enables the feature:
pui.designer["long field names"] = true;
