New File Options

When you right-click inside a folder in the Workspace File Explorer, you will see the following new file options:

  • Rich Display File

  • API File

  • Module File

File Naming Process

After selecting one of the file types:

  • A prompt appears asking to name the file

  • The correct file extension (e.g, .module.json, .api.json, .json) is displayed automatically and cannot be edited

  • Only the filename can be modified. Duplicate filenames trigger an error preventing file creation

File Saved to Workspace

Once naming is complete and the file is saved:

  • The file is added to the local workspace

  • The workspace view updates to reflect the newly created file
