In certain scenarios (especially over slow Internet connections), enabling compression can improve application performance.
To enable compression the HTTP Configuration File (/www/profoundui/conf/httpd.conf) must be modified. At the top of the file, add this line:
LoadModule deflate_module /QSYS.LIB/QHTTPSVR.LIB/QZSRCORE.SRVPGM
Then, add the following lines above the existing DirectoryMatch directives:
<Location / >
SetOutputFilter DEFLATE
</Location>
