Profound Installer records a detailed log for most operations. In most cases, Profound Installer will automatically prompt you to open log files when an unexpected error occurs. However, the log files can be browsed at any time.
Log files are stored on the local system in the Windows “app data” directory, which is specified by environment variable %APPDATA%.
This directory can vary based on Windows configuration, but is typically:
C:\Users\YOUR_PROFILE_NAME\AppData\Roaming
Profound Installer logs are stored here:
%APPDATA%\Profound Installer\logs
Log files are written into sub-directories for each operation, such as “install”, “upgrade”, “remove”, etc.
