Exporting / Importing Instances

The instance list can be exported to a data file and imported into another copy of Profound Installer. This allows you to share the list of managed instances between multiple users.
To export the instance list, click the Export button:
The instance list is exported as a JSON file. You’ll be prompted to select the file destination on the local system.
Only instances on remote systems are exported. If there are no remote installations, the Export button will be disabled.
To import an instance list from a data file, click the Import Instance List button:
You’ll be prompted for the data file location, and the import process will begin. When complete, another panel will display with the results:
