On IBM i

Before installing Profound.js, you must first install the following prerequisites on IBM i:

  1. Profound UI

Using Node.js 8 (recommended):

  1. Node.js 8 for IBM i.
  2. idb-connector (native DB2/i connector for Node.js on IBM i)

Or, using Node.js 6:

  2. Node.js on IBM i

 

On other systems

If you are installing Profound.js on a local PC or on a server other than IBM i, follow these steps:

  1. Install Node.js from www.nodejs.org.
  2. Proceed to install Profound.js.
